What Sahej is — and is not

Sahej is a healthcare discovery and care-coordination platform. We help you find and connect with independent doctors, physiotherapists, clinics and allied healthcare providers (“Providers”), and we help coordinate your care journey — bookings, reminders, session tracking and follow-ups.

Sahej is not a hospital, clinic, or medical practitioner, and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. All clinical care is delivered by independent Providers who are solely responsible for the services they provide. See our Medical Disclaimer for details.

Sahej is not an emergency service. In a medical emergency, call 112 (national emergency) or 108 (ambulance) immediately, or go to the nearest hospital.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to use the Platform on your own behalf. You may use the Platform to arrange care for a family member or dependant, including a minor, provided you are legally authorised to do so and you provide the required consent for their information.

How matching works

When you tell us what you need, Sahej suggests Providers we believe may fit, based on factors such as speciality, location, availability, language and patient feedback. Provider listings and information may be sourced from public directories and from Providers themselves.

Suggestions are informational and do not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of any Provider or of any clinical outcome. You are responsible for deciding whether a Provider is suitable for you. During our launch phase, some listings may not yet be independently verified by Sahej; verification status, where shown, is indicative.

Bookings, fees and payments

Using Sahej to search and match is free for patients. Charges apply only for healthcare services you book with a Provider, at the prices shown to you before you confirm.

Where payments are processed through the Platform, they are handled by third-party payment providers. Sahej may earn a service commission from Providers on services booked through the Platform; this does not increase the price you are quoted at booking.

You agree to pay the amounts shown for services you book, subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations, rescheduling, no-shows and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and by any Provider-specific terms shown to you at the time of booking.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Platform lawfully and respectfully, and not to:

• misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform;
• impersonate any person, or submit false, misleading or unlawful content;
• use the Platform for any purpose that is fraudulent, harmful, or that infringes the rights of others;
• scrape, copy, or resell Platform data except as expressly permitted.

Providers

Providers are independent third parties, not employees or agents of Sahej. A separate Provider Agreement governs their use of the Platform. Sahej does not control, and is not responsible for, the clinical judgement, conduct, availability, or quality of care of any Provider.

Reviews and content

Ratings and reviews may reflect third-party sources or patient feedback and are provided “as is”. If you submit feedback or content, you grant Sahej a non-exclusive licence to use it to operate and improve the Platform, and you confirm it is truthful and does not infringe anyone’s rights.

Intellectual property

The Platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos and software, is owned by Sahej or its licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

Third-party services

The Platform relies on third-party services, including WhatsApp for messaging, payment gateways for payments, and mapping and directory services for Provider information. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Sahej is not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sahej disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including regarding the accuracy of Provider information, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and clinical outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sahej will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any medical outcome, arising from your use of the Platform or from services provided by any Provider. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Sahej harmless from any claims, losses or expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform or your breach of these Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information, including health information. By using the Platform, you agree to the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Platform. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable consumer-protection rights, the courts at city, India — to be confirmed will have jurisdiction, and any dispute may be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat at city — to be confirmed.
