Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Policy explains cancellations, rescheduling and refunds for services booked through Sahej. Searching and matching on Sahej is free; this Policy applies to paid healthcare services you book. The specific terms for your booking — including any cancellation window and fee — are shown to you before you confirm, and those booking-time terms prevail where they differ from the general guidance below.
Free to search and match
There is no charge to use Sahej to find or be matched with a Provider. You only pay for a healthcare service you choose to book.
Cancelling or rescheduling
You can cancel or reschedule through WhatsApp or the link in your booking. As a general guide for home-visit services such as physiotherapy:
- cancelling with reasonable advance notice (typically more than 4 hours before the appointment) is free;
- cancelling at short notice (typically within 4 hours) may attract a partial fee to compensate the Provider’s reserved time;
- rescheduling is free where slots are available.
The exact window and any fee for your booking are always shown before you confirm.
No-shows
If a Provider arrives for a confirmed home visit and the patient is unavailable, a no-show fee may apply, as disclosed at booking. If a Provider fails to attend a confirmed booking, you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid for that session.
Refund method and timeline
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method. Once approved, refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days; the time for funds to reach you depends on your bank or payment provider.
Deposits for equipment rental
For equipment rentals, a refundable deposit may be collected and released on return of the equipment in acceptable condition. Reasonable charges for loss or damage may be deducted, with evidence provided and a route to dispute.
How to request a refund
To request a cancellation or refund, message us on WhatsApp or email team@sahej.life with your booking details. We will confirm the outcome and, if approved, the refund amount and timeline.
Disputes
If you are unhappy with a decision, contact team@sahej.life and we will review it fairly. This Policy does not affect your rights under applicable consumer-protection law.
